our location Kudu Ridge is situated en-route to the Addo National Elephant Park. Take the N2 from Port Elizabeth out to Grahamstown and turn off onto the R335 to Addo at the 'Markman Turn-Off' opposite the Caltex Truck Stop Service Station and the newly built Coega Village. Following the R335 to Addo, you must pass Motherwell Township, the Telkom Microwave Towers and the gravel road to Uitenhage, looking out for the board marked 'Addo National Elephant Park 20km'. The road descends into a kloof, twisting to the right past a small gravel road, where Kudu Ridge's game fence starts on the left, approximately 500 meters past the board. You will recognise the fence with its A4 size white metal boards every 15 to 20 meters, as well as a six-strand electric fence on its inside. Continue through the kloof, passing under the Eskom Power Lines to where the Addo Valley opens up on your right. You will find the main entrance to the farm immediately on your left, slightly hidden right behind a little road cutting.
please note The gate is motorised and operated by solar power, all you have to do to open it, is to activate it by pressing a knob, situated at the gate on the right hand side of it. Once through the gate, please ensure that it closes properly and 'all the way' behind you (automatically after 30 seconds). Proceeed with the gravel road to the top of the hill where the complex entrance lies to your right and you can follow the directional boards to the parking area and reception. |
