Because we arrived late in the evening and the next day we actually had to leave again early, Kudu Ridge twice drove us around (once at night and once in the morning) seeking wild. And we finally found the zebras! Our daughter also enjoyed the presence of dogs, especially those of Pedro. The food in the evening was delicious.

-Dider

Awesome break, hospitality second to none, scrumptious food, thank you so much.

I stayed two nights at Kudu Ridge Game Ranch with my sister and we really enjoyed the time. We slept in a tend outside and we had everything what we need. Thank you to Brian and Jenny for the great time and for your warm hospitality. I recommend Kudu Ridge Game Ranch 🙂

We stayed 2 nights in Kudu Ridge and booked a chalet, but they showed us a tent also when we arrived, and gave us the choise to choose. We chose the tent and it was a great experence to sleep there. The owners are amazing people that are so friendly and warm, we had a lovely first night with them next to the fire. They helped us book some safari tours and gave us all info and assistence we needed.

My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights and really loved it. The accommodation is basic but very clean and everything you need is there. It is 10 minutes you are at Addo National Parc, which is very convenient. What made our stay truely wonderfull are the nice hosts. It is run by Andrew but his mother, father and also his fiancee all participate and together they create a great, warm, welcome atmosphere. The ranch has a nice little bar and we can highly recommend having diner there. It is a set menu but they cater happily for special wishes ( for example Vegetarian). In the centre of the main area burns a great fire where the guests share their photos and stories of the day. If you are looking for a good and homely place to stay, the Kudu ridge game ranch is a great choice!

Had a kudu steak for the first time the other day and it was absolutely delectable. The Kudu Ridge people are a great bunch. Had an awesome time there.

I have the Kudu Rige Game Ranch booked by two days to explore the Addo National Park. Those who want to stay away and surrounded by Wild is right here. I geschlaften in one of the tents, but which are very comfortable, equipped with proper bed, toilet, shower, seating area and coffee corner. I was welcomed by Andrew and his girlfriend Alison and I was shown everything. Toll is also in the evening to eat there, there is a campfire and the food from the grill was excellent. At the bar there is a sufficient selection of drinks and the hosts will be very friendly to the physical welfare of their guests. I have also received valuable tips for my trips through the Addo National Park. Those looking to stay in an informal accommodation with a friendly and fun hosts, I only recommend Kudu Ridge Game Ranch.

Brian and Jen were awesome hosts. Such a gem to stay at their ranch and lodge. Stargazers, adventurers and dreamers don’t miss this special experience. Especially if you plan on Addo Elephant Preserve first or last game drive as you can’t stay in the park and do either. I will definitely return, with friends!

-Benjamin Block, United States

Marvelous place!!!!! The owners just make you feel like at home and better. You have any request? They will make sure that they help you! Oh and the homemade cooking…. Just wonderful. Andrew: your chicken dish was awesome. I’ll be back!

If you came to SA you should not forget to visit and spend a few days at Kudu Bridge . Nice people, with Brian and his fabulous family who makes you enjoy SA as a different way. Excellent nights , in a kind place. Don t hesitate to sleep at their tents !! Wonderful and comfortable to hear the animals noises at night. Great experience for couples, family or your own.

-Monica Castellaro, Argentina

An isolated spot close to Addo national park. Good camping facilities. Clean toilets with hot water. Good Cooking area. Fire pit lit every night by the bar which was well stocked. Helpful staff reliable free wifi some game on site and safe to wander.

We had a wonderful stay at the Kudu Ridge Game Ranch! Perfect located to visit the Addo NP! We loved our tent, the dogs and meeting other people sitting by the fire in the evening. Brian and his family were rather friends then hosts. We would definitely recommend the Ranch! Ah, and I had the best milktart ever! 🙂

– Annett Lebenatus, Germany

We had the best time at Kudu Ridge Game Ranch. Jenny & Brian are a heck of a host 🙂 Lovely welcome – always accesible and helpful & never interupting the guests privacy – and even more lovely good bye. The Cabin and main house itself and especially the view from the deck and the private game reserve can not be matched or pictured by any foto. It’s absolutely stunning. And the housemade food is so delicious! Definetly going to stay here again when we are coming back to Addo. Thank you so much for the private tour you invited us on our first evening, and for the very special time we had together. We will never forget!!

– Geli, Germany

Very cordial welcome and always very helpful with any need from a reservation for a Schotia Safari, searching for my misplaced mobile phone or recommending a tasty beer! Dinner was authentic and delicious. Tents were clean and practical. Well located to visit Addo Elephant National Park. Brian and Jenny are super hosts.

– Markus, Switzerland

Thanks for treating us as family and supporting Stone Age research. Great stay.

A fantastic find at short notice (we phoned that morning) 4 of us spent a night in bush tents, had an amazing evening meal around the fire with perfect hosts. The night drive around provided a degree of excitement and adventure and during the day -with caution- you can walk around and get amazing photos of the local wildlife – eg porcupines and kudus! I will make sure this is in my stay. The small wildlife that visits the tent is fun. A must stay place if your visiting around addo/port elisabeth

– Edwin, London

We have been coming here for training purposes for the last 4 years and have been coming back twice a year. The place offers basic accommodation in tents and simple houses, however the beds are excellent, the showers warm, and everything clean. The public area (boma) where the meals are served is very cosy and the bar stocks plenty of drinks. The food is simple but always good in quality. The reserve is small but nicely stocked with Kudu and other small game which makes it very nice for a a hike or game drive after a day in the conference room. The conference room is decorated with a range of game (just the heads and has air-conditioning and Audiovisual Equipment. A good alternative for the somewhat overpriced accommodation in Addo’s Elephant park as the reserve is only 15 km’s away from Addo’s main entrance.

I would like to thank you, Jenny, Andrew and your whole staff for the weekend. All the feedback from the guys was very positive and complimentary. You and your team, with the way you go out of your way makes it easy for companies to give their staff weekend breakaways like this past one as an incentive

– Johan Muller, Senior Buyer – CSV Construction [Pty] Ltd

Thanks for a great time once again. It’s always good to see you guys and catch up with what has been happening in your nick of the woods. I’ll definitely see you guys again some time in the near future.

– Ralph Niebuhr, Territory Manager – Gallagher SA

Auddy and I enjoyed our visit to Kudu Ridge very much and are sure to send some others your way – and perhaps come back ourselves some time. I am still sorting out the many photos we took in South Africa (in excess of 1,600 I think).

– Arthur & Auddy, SA

We came there tired and left there revived! Our children thoroughly enjoyed themselves. We saw new things in them this weekend that we haven’t seen before…lol! Our household is so relaxed and peaceful, more tolerant of each other, altogether just wonderful! We started our week this morning refreshed and on a happy note!

– Stuart & Deidre Bouwer, SA

Awesome break, hospitality second to none, scrumptious food, thank you so much.

-Glynis Hall Meacham

I stayed two nights at Kudu Ridge Game Ranch with my sister and we really enjoyed the time. We slept in a tend outside and we had everything what we need. Thank you to Brian and Jenny for the great time and for your warm hospitality. I recommend Kudu Ridge Game Ranch 🙂

-Elfi, Germany

-Monica, Switzerland

– Stuart & Deidre Bouwer, SA

Very cordial welcome and always very helpful with any need from a reservation for a Schotia Safari, searching for my misplaced mobile phone or recommending a tasty beer! Dinner was authentic and delicious. Tents were clean and practical. Well located to visit Addo Elephant National Park. Brian and Jenny are super hosts.

We stayed 2 nights in Kudu Ridge and booked a chalet, but they showed us a tent also when we arrived, and gave us the choise to choose. We chose the tent and it was a great experence to sleep there. The owners are amazing people that are so friendly and warm, we had a lovely first night with them next to the fire. They helped us book some safari tours and gave us all info and assistence we needed.

-Tessa, Germany

-Jonne, The Netherlands

Had a kudu steak for the first time the other day and it was absolutely delectable. The Kudu Ridge people are a great bunch. Had an awesome time there.

-Xhanti Madolo

-Monica, Switzerland

-Karin Soerensen, Germany

Thanks for a great time once again. It’s always good to see you guys and catch up with what has been happening in your nick of the woods. I’ll definitely see you guys again some time in the near future.

Auddy and I enjoyed our visit to Kudu Ridge very much and are sure to send some others your way – and perhaps come back ourselves some time. I am still sorting out the many photos we took in South Africa (in excess of 1,600 I think).
