The 2020 Addo Elephant trail run takes place from tomorrow, 6th, to 8 March 2020. This is one of our favourite annual Addo events and takes place in the nearby Addo Elephant National Park in the Eastern Cape region of South Africa. There are events to suit all levels of fitness and ages.

There is still time, book your stay at Kudu Ridge!

Kudu Ridge offers a great accommodation option for anyone participating in the 2020 Addo Elephant trail run. Of course, supporters are welcome too.

2020 Addo Elephant Trail Run Details

The gruelling 100 mile (160 km) Addo Elephant trail run was founded in 2005, making it the oldest event of its type in South Africa. It was reinvented in 2016 with a more challenging route. The 76km and 44km events traverse the slightly less challenging sections of the 100 mile course. There is also a fun 5 km trail event for all ages and anyone new to trail running.

Trail runners can enjoy running through the remote but wildlife-safe areas of the Addo Elephant National Park. These areas are not normally accessible at other times.
