Schotia Private Game Reserve, one of the oldest game reserves in the malaria-free Eastern Cape, borders the eastern side of Addo Elephant National Park. The reserve is richly stocked with over 40 mammal species and approximately 2000 animals, which means that it consistently offers good game viewing activities throughout the year.
Schotia Safari Addo Activities
Situated about one hour from Kudu Ridge Game Lodge, we offer day safaris into Schotia Game Reserve in either our open off-road vehicle or our 7 seater kombi bus.
We aim to show our guests as much as possible on a drive and concentrate on getting as close to the best viewing of rhino, hippo, giraffe and lion.
After an amazing experience where you will view more animals than you thought possible, you will enjoy a delicious dinner prepared over an open fire.
To round off your day safari, we do a short spotlight night drive to view nocturnal animals before heading back to our lodge.
Cost: R1500 per person.
Safari: 4-6 hour drive
Includes: Park transfers, entrance fees, cool drinks and supper in the African boma
