A black rhino was spotted browsing in a thicket in the Addo Elephant Park on a tour through Addo with guests on Saturday morning. These animals are highly endangered due to poaching by unscrupulous people with the mistaken belief that the horn has medicinal value. This belief is totally unfounded as the horns have absolutely no medicinal value whatsoever. If something drastic is not done to stop this wholesale slaughter sightings such as this of these magnificent animal will be a thing of the past.
